Steve has served as the Chief Executive Officer of The Tasmanian Hospitality Association, and the THA Foundation (Charity Fundraiser) for over 13 years.

Before leading THA Steve was the Chief of Staff for the Office of Minister Michelle O'Byrne, and proceeding this a Senior Advisor for Paul Lennon, Deputy Premier & then Premier of the State of Tasmania. Earlier he was also a Senior Advisor to the Office of Premier Jim Bacon.

Steve has overseen a vast array of local Sports Clubs including serving as the President of Kingborough Tigers Football Club, Phoenix Basketball Club, Hobart Chargers Basketball Club (SEABL) and Sorell Football Club Inc.

He was also the past Chairman for the Tasmanian Paralympic Corporate Fundraising Committee, and the Tasmanian Olympic/Commonwealth Games Corporate Fundraising Committee.
