Coaches
â– Head Coach
Scott Roth
Scott hails from Cleveland and has been an assistant coach for a number of NBA teams including the Golden State Warriors, Dallas Mavericks, Toronto Raptors and Detroit Pistons. Roth was also Head Coach of the Dominican Republic, NBA G-League team, the Iowa Wolves, and assistant coach of the Chinese and Turkish national teams. Prior to coaching, he played 160 NBA games with the Utah Jazz, San Antonio Spurs and Minnesota Timberwolves and enjoyed a successful playing career in Europe. Prior to leading the Tasmania JackJumpers, Scott was an Assistant Coach at the Perth Wildcats taking them to a finals campaign. In his inaugural year with the JackJumpers, Scott recruited a playing roster in the shortest period in NBL history, taking them to a Grand Final and earning the Coach of the Year title along the way.
â– Assistant Coaches
Mark Radford
Radford was also the Head Coach of the Australian World University Games Team from 2017-2019 and the North West Thunder from 2001-2008. He has served as an Assistant Coach with the Australian U19 National Team from 2014-2016 and with the Perth Wildcats (2008-2010) and Adelaide 36ers (2010-2013) in the NBL. Mark Radford has been an assistant coach for the Tasmania JackJumpers since the clubs inception.
Jack Fleming
Jack joins the JackJumpers in the role of Third Assistant Coach. Jack previously held the role of Head Coach of the under 16 Victorian Men’s Metro team and has worked as the head basketball strength and conditioning coach at Box Hill Senior Secondary College. Jack has been an assistant coach for the Tasmania JackJumpers since the clubs inception.
Jarrad Weeks
Jarrad joins the JackJumpers coaching staff after a decorated NBL playing career. Jarrad played 254 NBL games across five clubs finishing his career as Vice-Captain of the Tasmania JackJumpers. Jarrad weeks currently serves as head coach for the Hobart Chargers in the NBL1 South and acts as a development coach for young players coming through the system.

Ryan Carroll
Ryan Carroll is the head of high performance with the Tasmania JackJumpers a role he has held since the clubs inception. Ryan has also served in the high performance team for the Australian Boomers National team where he has served for the past 5 years.
Harrison Shaw-Gillott
After completing his education is WA and serving both the Fremantle Dockers and West Coast Eagles AFL sides Harrison made the move to the Tasmania JackJumpers in their first season where he manages the high performance of the team. Working with the playing group and coaches to manage work loads, diets, and physical wellbeing.

Matthew Blackwell
After serving with the New Zealand Breakers in the NBL24 Season, Matthew Blackwell made the move to the Tasmania JackJumpers bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience to the role. Matthew has been involved in various roles in basketball for his whole life and will be a crucial part of organising the team throughout the season.
