Sean Macdonald helped the Darwin Salties run away with a 29-point lead. Sean played a facilitating role with the team recording a team high 5 assists, while also scoring 16 points, and pulling down 8 rebounds. Sean shot 70% from the field in a highly efficient 7 of 10.



Townsville Heat vs Darwin Salties
Sean played a larger scoring role for the Darwin Salties in their 18-point win over the Townsville Heat. Sean scored 32 points while shooting 75% from the field. Sean did more than just score though pulling down 7 rebounds, 3 assists, and 4 steals.

Rockingham Flames vs Joondalup Wolves
Gorjok Gak helped himself to a double double in a close fought game agaisnt the Joondalup wolves. Gorjok has 11 points and 14 rebounds as well as 2 assists, 1 steal, and a block.

Fabijan Krslovic

West Adelaide Bearcats vs Forrestville Eagles
Fabijan Krslovic led the West Adelaide Bearcats in scoring as he helped himself to 23 points, 9 rebounds, and 6 assists in a 8 point loss. The West Adelaide Bearcats were missing fellow teammate Anthony Drmic but still provide a close hit out with the ladder leaders.

Hobart Chargers vs Frankston
Clint Steindl helped himself to a triple double in the Hobart Chargers win against the Frankston Blues. Clint recorded 12 points and 11 rebounds on 4 of 9 shooting. He also recorded 2 assists and a steal.

Hobart Chargers 56 lost to Frankston Blues 72
After Hobart managed to have an early three-point lead, Frankston took charge with Reid leading the charge and the Blues scored 15 consecutive points and by quarter-time were leading 26-9.

Frankston kept the run going to start the second term too and would lead by as much as 21, but Hobart worked back into the contest with eight consecutive points to cut the Blues lead to 38-25 at half-time.

The Chargers could never quite get close enough to threaten throughout the second half with the Blues going on to score the 16-point win.

Hobart slips to 3-5, Kayla Steindl recorded 21 points, four rebounds, three assists, and two steals.

Cierra Walker added 17 points, two rebounds and two assists, and Jayda Jansen nine points, three boards, three assists and two steals.

MEN
Hobart Chargers 88 defeated Frankston Blues 80
The Hobart Chargers received a huge performance from Terrell Brown and on the back of that were able to knock off the Frankston Blues 88-80 at home on Friday night.

Frankston managed to open a six-point lead in the first quarter and were still up 22-18 by the end of one but Hobart worked on top in the second term and would push out to a 10-point advantage of their own.

The Chargers were on top 38-33 by half-time, but it was the turn of the Blues to take charge once more with 13 consecutive points in the third quarter to turn that deficit into a seven-point lead of their own.

The momentum swings continued, and Hobart took back over in the fourth quarter, before going on to win by eight.

The victory improves the Chargers to a 5-3 record on the season with Terrell Brown outstanding with 29 points, three rebounds and two steals on 11/25 shooting from the floor and 5/6 from the free-throw line.

Jacob Richards added 13 points, five rebounds and five assists for Hobart, Clint Steindl 12 points and 11 boards, Vionte Daniels 12 points, five assists and three rebounds, and Joe Chilcott 11 points, five boards and three assists.

North West Thunder

North West Tasmania Thunder 76 lost to Frankston Blues 101

It was a tight contest for the opening three quarters as well with Frankston leading 22-19 by the end of the first quarter before North West turned the tide in the second term with 28 points to 23 to go into half-time on top 47-45.

It was then Frankston clinging to a 69-65 advantage heading into the fourth term and while it was all set up for a thrilling finish, the Blues ensured that wouldn’t be the case.

Frankston would end up outscoring North West 32 points to 11 in the final period to score the eventual 25-point victory.

Sekou Sylla put up 26 points and 10 rebounds despite the loss at home for the Thunder with Seth Swalve contributing 15 points and seven assists, and Isaac Atuer 12 points, two rebounds and two assists.

Launceston Tornadoes

WOMENS
Launceston Tornadoes 66 lost to Frankston Blues 74

Launceston was looking for a second win of the season at the same time and it was the home team who had a 17-13 advantage by quarter-time.

The Tornadoes turned that into a seven-point lead in the second term and they were still clinging to the 41-40 edge by the main break.

The game was still up for grabs by three quarter-time with Frankston leading by just a point, but the Blues had the better of the final period with 18 points to 11 to secure the eight-point win.

Keely Froling added 18 points and six rebounds, with Lore Devos contributing 16 points, seven rebounds and four assists, and Sarah O'Neill 13 points.
