The JackJumpers return to MyState Bank Arena for a quick turnaround clash against the NZ Breakers after taking on the Wildcats. Following a demanding stretch, Tasmania will look to gain momentum against a Breakers team that has exceeded expectations this season.
With a 7-2 record, the Breakers currently lead the league and are coming off a dominant 34-point win over Melbourne United, where five players scored in double figures. Next Star Karim Lopez stood out with a 17-point, 10-rebound, and 4-block double-double. Under Coach Petteri Koponen, the Breakers’ impressive teamwork has solidified them as serious contenders.
To secure another home victory, the JackJumpers will need to bring their best on both ends of the court. This matchup promises to be a true test of Tasmania’s resilience and focus.
This game is part of the NBL’s Indigenous Round and we will acknowledge and celebrate Tasmanian Aboriginal people.
